Zcash、一時ICO後の高値に達する: 取引よりもマイニングで人気のある仮想通貨、Zcash（ジーキャッシュ）の価格が月曜日に一時、800ドルというICO後の高値に達しました。

時価総額第23位のZcashは匿名性が高いことが最大の特徴です。Zcashは「zk-SNARKs」と呼ばれる「ゼロ知識証明」技術を活用しており、この技術でユーザー同士、身元を明かすことなく取引することができます。ビットコインのブロックチェーンには取引額と共に取引者の情報も記録されますが、Zcashのブロックチェーンには取引が行われたことは記録されますが、取引者や取引額は分からないようにできています。

このような機能は犯罪に利用されるというリスクもありますが、Zcashは「企業はビジネスでブロックチェーンを使用する際、サプライチェーンと共にプライバシーを保護する必要がある」とし、さらに「尊厳、親交、モラルと同様、個人のプライバシーも人間には重要である」との意見です。
