Kiana Danial

a Financial Expert and CEO of Invest Diva

I’ve achieved long-term financial success, and I’m passionate about helping awesome go-getters like you do the same. Throughout my career in investing and wealth management, I’ve earned international recognition, numerous awards, spoken about finances at many high-profile events, and written five books about the subject. I didn’t stop there, though—I started Invest Diva to help as many people as possible reach financial freedom. If you want to learn how to achieve long-lasting financial success (and why wouldn’t you?!), you’ve come to the right place. But first, let me tell you a little more about myself.

In the beginning…

Since day one, I’ve always marched to the beat of my own drum. I was born in Iran to a Jewish family, making me a religious minority. When I was 18, I moved to Japan by myself to study electrical engineering, where I was the only female and foreigner in all of my classes.

After 7 years in Japan, I moved to New York and landed my dream job on Wall Street! I felt like I was on top of the world and finally had it all: a great job, a boyfriend, and an apartment on the Upper East Side.

And Then…

Things quickly took a turn for the worse. I got fired, then a few days later, my boyfriend dumped me. I couldn’t pay rent and I was heartbroken—it was no fun. I tried looking for a new job, but becoming an engineer didn’t sound fulfilling, even though I studied electrical engineering in college. On top of all that, I still wasn’t fluent in English since it’s my third language. It seemed like nothing was going my way.

My Breakthrough…

I suddenly realized that my negative mindset was keeping me from getting ahead. I had to start believing that I deserved to be financially successful, and that I was capable of making it happen. In other words, I had to switch to a Millionaire Diva mindset!

But then….

I remembered that several years ago, I had given a money manager a big chunk of my money to invest in a mutual fund. He had used a bunch of big, intimidating words while talking about investing, so I figured he had to be good at it. Right? Well, it turns out that investing with this money manager hadn’t been a good idea at all. When I called him up to pull some much-needed money from the fund, he said there would be a 75% penalty for taking it out early. Ugh! Talk about a terrible return on investment…

I finally decided to take my financial future into my own hands. I learned all about finance and wealth, taking courses and doing free internships at financial firms so I could understand investing strategies that used to seem intimidating to me. By this time, I was dying to put what I learned into action, so I started investing on my own and things really took off! I was seeing huge returns on my investments, and before I knew it, I had achieved financial freedom.

As of now, my personal portfolio that I’ve been managing for years is worth over $5 million. My financial success has given me the amazing opportunity to spend more time with my husband, Matt, and our daughter. You might think I’d want to retire early and sip mimosas on the beach—the thought does sound tempting!—but instead of doing that, I want to use what I’ve learned to help others achieve financial success as well. That’s why I started Invest Diva, wrote 5 books about finance, and have spoken about the subject at so many events.

My Million Dollar Beliefs

If I Can Achieve Financial Success,
So Can You

You might be thinking, “Kiana, I’m no financial expert. It will probably be way harder for me to reach financial freedom than it was for you.” But in reality, it might actually be easier for you than it was for me! Yes, my experiences led me down the path to financial success, but let me tell you, there were many ups and downs along the way. I’m here to show you everything I’ve learned about earning income and investing it properly, so you won’t be starting from square one like I did; you’ll have a head start towards reaching your financial goals. And don’t worry—you don’t need to be a financial expert or a math whiz to make it happen. Even if you can’t stand math, you can follow the system that I came up with to achieve financial success!
